Do We Need Full-Day Wedding Photography?

This is one of the most common questions couples ask — and the honest answer is: it depends on your day.

Full-day wedding photography usually means coverage from morning preparations right through to the evening celebrations. It’s ideal if you want the full story of your wedding day captured, not just the ceremony itself.

Having full-day coverage means nothing is rushed. Morning prep captures the excitement and nerves before the ceremony. The ceremony itself is documented naturally, followed by relaxed portraits, candid moments with guests, speeches, and the evening party atmosphere.

Some couples worry that full-day photography will feel intrusive, but that’s not how I work. My approach is calm and unobtrusive — I blend into the background and let the day unfold naturally.

If you’re planning a smaller or more relaxed wedding, part-day coverage can work beautifully too. That’s why I offer flexible options, so you only book what suits your plans.

If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to talk through your timeline and help you decide what makes the most sense.
